Helicity in M**2/S**2. Storm relative environmental helicity is integrated over the 0-3km AGL layer. The storm motion is derived by applying a formula to the mean wind from the surface to 500mb. The helicity is numerically equal to minus twice the hodograph area over the layer. More details are in our README file in the section on "deriv.exe".
